Dezign A Door is seeking a driven kitchen designer with sales experience to join our company. We are looking for an outstanding, hands-on Kitchen Designer to create bespoke designs for our clients. As our Kitchen Designer you will be required to consider the intended purposes of each space, along with clients’ style preference when drafting plans.

Kitchen Designer Requirements and Qualifications
- Degree in Interior Design
- Work experience as a Kitchen Designer and sales
- Demonstrate the ability to read architect plans
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding project management skills
- Proficient with computer design software

Kitchen Designer Qualities, Duties and Responsibilities:

- Meet with clients to ascertain the intended functions and appearance of each space
- Understanding the needs of clients and interpreting their ideas into innovate and creative designs
- Anticipate and inform clients of additional feature which may be of use to them
- Managing client expectations and providing regular feedback to the client
- Suggest appropriate materials and finishes
- Careful consideration to the placement of water and electrical systems
- Create a plan which details the layout and appearance of each space
- Produce quotes for completed designs
- Active listening skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Good understanding of technical concepts
- Flourish in a fast-paced environment
- Quickly and effectively deal with project problems
