Maintenance
**Requirements**:
- Grade 12 plus trade tested Artisan in the Built Environment
- A minimum of four (4) years relevant building maintenance
experience
- A valid code B driver’s licence
- Computer Literacy in MS Office Applications and SAP
- 2 years supervisory experience
- Project management experience (Advantageous)
- Prepared to undertake standby duties and work overtime if
and when required.
Key Performance Areas
- Coordinate tasks/activities associated with the implementation
of building maintenance plans and procedures in conjunction
with the Depot Manager, assist with the development and
execution of building maintenance plans, priorities and
schedules of building projects.
- Coordinate and control tasks/activities associated with
managing personnel performance, productivity and
discipline. Participate in infrastructure planning
- Monitor and evaluate progress with regards to repair,
construction, installation and maintenance type work.
- Perform specific administration tasks/activities associated
with the updating and maintaining of records/information
related to the activities/operations at the depot.
- Contractor performance management.
- Asset management inclusive of buildings, equipment, plant,
tools and vehicles.
- Ensure laid down procedures and guidelines associated
with the operations of the depot are implemented,
deviations promptly attended to and corrected to enable
compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the depot is capably positioned in terms of material,
equipment and personnel to achieve outcomes of civil
maintenance programmes.
