**5* LUXURY LODGE MANAGER - NAMIBIA - R32000/month + 1 month bonus according to KPI, housing, food, 1 annual return flight ticket, medical insurance, phone allowance.**

We are currently looking for a LUXURY LODGE MANAGER who will assume responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the property with regards to the company’s standards, revenues, controlling costs and ensuring the highest level of comfort and satisfaction for guests. You will have relevant experience and be seeking that final all important career platform before moving to a General Management role. Act as the main contact for associates and other hotel departments in the absence of the General Manager.

The Lodge Manager will be required to lead by example and conduct His/her duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures. To always ensure that a high level of service is maintained throughout the Lodge.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
- Advanced financial skills including P&L analysis and reporting.
- Stock Control & Costings.
- Revenue Management
- Food & Beverage Knowledge
- Menu Design & Compilation.
- Team Management
- POS / PMS System.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Convey a high level of understanding of the importance of attending to details.
- Handle challenging situations with guests diplomatically.
- Ensure accuracy by verifying work against standards or input of others.
- Take extra steps to ensure work is completed despite lack of cooperation from others.
- Pursue increased responsibility.
- Maintain high level of output and quality regardless of task load.
- Take initiative and act quickly to deliver projects in a professional manner.
- Take action to ensure overall success of department / organisation.
- Maintain an organized system to ensure that processes are being completed on time.

JOB SPECIFICATION
- High school, Certificate in Business/Accounting Management or equivalent education required. Graduate Certificate preferred.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
- Requires advanced communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must possess advanced computer skills.
- Must have excellent leadership capability and customer relation skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services, and facilities.

EXPERIENCE:

- Three to five years’ experience as Assistant Manager / Resident Manager / Executive Assistant Manager / Hotel Manager in a 4/5 star Hotel of note.
- Certificates Required: Degree in Hospitality Management or similar.
