- The Compliance, Ethics & Risk Manager relies on this position to assist in building an ethical and compliance culture by implementing the Group Compliance, Ethics and Fraud management processes.**Fraud Management**:
- Develop, maintain and revise policies and procedures for Fraud Management.
- To implement, monitor and report on the status of Fraud including reporting to the board of directors.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend rectification and mitigation measures.
- To continuously create awareness and provide training to all stakeholders.
**Compliance Management**:
- Develop, maintain and revise policies and procedures for the compliance program.
- To implement, monitor and report on the status and level of compliance including reporting to the board of directors.
- To continuously create awareness and provide training to all stakeholders.
- Continuous alignment of TSA methodology with Group methodology.
**Ethics Management**
- To support the implementation for the Group’s Code of Conduct.
- Develop, maintain and revise policies and procedures for Ethics.
- To implement, monitor and report on the status Ethics including reporting to the board of directors.
- To continuously create awareness and provide training to all stakeholders.
- Continuous alignment of TSA methodology with Group methodology.
**Delegation Management**:
- To implement, monitor and report on the status of Official Delegations of Authority.
- To continuously create awareness to all stakeholders.
- Continuous alignment of TSA methodology with Group methodology.
- Management of the Delegation of Authority Tool.
**Context and environment**
- This position is responsible for Ethics Management, Compliance management, Fraud Management and management of Official Delegations of Authority in Total South Africa as well as all subsidiaries and or affiliates within the scope of TSA. Further the Transformation Social and Ethics sub-Committee of the Board, the CEO and General Managers rely on this position to support management in developing a ethical and governance culture to support of the company’s mission to sustain shareholder value.
**Minimum Qualification**:
- Business degree or LLB degree will be advantageous.
- 2 years in a compliance or assistant company secretarial role or experience in Board administration and reporting requirements.
- Working knowledge of the industry or relevant experience.
**Competencies/Skills**:
- Ability and gravitas to work with authority at top management level
- Good time management and the ability to work independent, proactively and within required deadlines
- Strong planning, organisational, administrative and writing skills
- Negotiation skills, persuasion skills, leadership skills, assertiveness, pro-activeness, interpersonal skills; written communication skills.
