Sales Development Representative (SDR)

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a pivotal role in driving our customers sales pipeline, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing relationships with potential customers.
**Job Overview**: As a Virtual SDR, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads to support our customers sales team. Working from our Somerset West office, you will leverage various online platforms, tools, and strategies to engage prospects, understand their needs, and effectively communicate the value of our products/services. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth and success of our sales initiatives.
**Responsibilities**:
**Prospect and Lead Generation**: Utilize online resources, social media, and other platforms to identify potential leads and decision-makers in target industries. Conduct research and gather relevant information on prospective companies and contacts to personalize outreach efforts. Develop a strong understanding of our products/services to effectively communicate their value to potential customers.
**Sales Pipeline Management**: Document and track all activities, interactions, and relevant information in the CRM system. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads for further sales engagement. Regularly update sales and marketing teams on lead generation activities, challenges, and successes.
**Relationship Building and Nurturing**: Build and maintain relationships with potential customers, providing them with relevant information and resources to nurture their interest. Follow up with leads at different stages of the sales process to gauge their readiness for further engagement. Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute personalized campaigns to engage leads and move them through the sales funnel.
**Continuous Learning and Improvement**: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and new sales techniques. Actively participate in training programs, workshops, and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge. Share insights, best practices, and feedback with the sales team to optimize lead generation and qualification processes.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience as an SDR, sales representative, or similar role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales engagement tools to manage leads and track activities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to achieving targets and exceeding expectations.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with the crypto/tech industry and understanding of B2B sales processes is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.

**Salary**: R10,191.00 - R12,030.00 per month
