Job Objectives
- communicate all project related scope, deliverable matters, updates and issue
*resolution to all relevant parties in a courteous, clear and timely fashion
*Manage, track and expedite single and multi-site projects within predefined timeframes and
*deadlines, within the requirements of the PMO project management and governance framework
*To effectively manage and track all project resources, follow the escalation path to address
*resource issues, and drive resolution thereof. Resources include but not limited to: people and
*project stakeholders, all types of stock and suppliers
*To diligently manage, record and track all risk and issues on projects, follow the escalation path to
address same, and drive resolution thereof
*To report accurate project forecasting and facilitate timeous billing of projects, in line with product
rules and PMO regulations
*To close out and transition the project to VTSC and support in a clear and timely manner by
ensuring all handover requirements are met
*To understand and live by the core values of the PMO, ensuring continued professional
development to learn and grow as a Project manager

Job Skills
Working knowledge with various software programs:
Office
Visio
MS Project 2010 / 2013
SharePoint 2010/2013

Experience at working both independently and in a
team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential A
Working knowledge of:
*Internet connectivity technologies,
*LAN, WAN & MPLS Connectivity and Principles
*ISP Environment
*ICT Environments

Experience in supervision of resources.
Knowledge of:

- project management
- process improvement
- methological process driven tasks

Minimum Requirements
*Grade 12 or NQF 4 or above with:
*English as First or Second Language at NQF 4.
*PRINCE2 Foundation / Agile Foundation Essential
*PRINCE2 Practitioner
*1 Year experience in resource management / scheduling.
*3 Years intensive experience using Microsoft Office Suite
*2 Years experience in Project Management
