A Textile manufacturing company based in KZN requires an individual to manage and analyze the costs associated with the production and operations within the têxtile industry. This role is vital for ensuring that the company’s pricing strategies and cost structures are efficient and competitive.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cost Analysis & Reporting**:

- Analyze production costs related to raw materials, labor, and overhead specific to têxtile manufacturing.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and statements to support management in decision-making.
- Identify areas of inefficiency or excessive costs and suggest cost reduction strategies.
- **Budgeting & Forecasting**:

- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts related to têxtile production and overall operations.
- **Inventory Valuation**:

- Monitor the valuation of inventory, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Ensure accurate cost allocation to inventory items, considering factors like fabric, dyeing, and finishing processes.
- **Standard Costing**:

- Develop and maintain standard costing models for different têxtile products.
- Regularly update cost standards to reflect changes in production methods, materials, or market conditions.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Work closely with production teams to optimize processes and reduce waste in têxtile manufacturing.
- Analyze the cost impact of new product designs or changes in existing products.
- **Compliance & Reporting**:

- Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including cost of goods sold (COGS) reports.

A **Creditors & Debtors ** to manage the accounts payable (creditors) and accounts receivable (debtors) processes within an organization. This role is essential for maintaining the company’s financial health by ensuring timely payments and collections.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Accounts Payable (Creditors)**:

- Process invoices from suppliers and ensure they are authorized and coded correctly.
- Prepare and process payments to creditors, ensuring timely settlement of accounts.
- Reconcile supplier statements with company records and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain and update creditor records and ensure accuracy in the accounting system.
- **Accounts Receivable (Debtors)**:

- Generate and send out invoices to customers for goods or services provided.
- Track and follow up on outstanding payments, managing overdue accounts.
- Process receipts from debtors and allocate payments to the correct accounts.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any billing disputes or discrepancies.

Min 3 years’ experience in the têxtile industry, proven track record.
