**Job Description**:
**Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to**
- Lead both vendor and internal software development teams, and participate in all aspects of building or enhancing software.
- Serving as an advisor to senior business management on business and information integration strategies.
- Owning, managing and advising on the company's technology enterprise architecture.
- Owning and advising on the company's data science initiatives and managing the data team.
- Evaluating internal functions, business development strategies, and IT processes and suggesting improvements.
- Update and maintain the key Enterprise Architecture deliverables.
- Evaluate systems engineering, talent recruiting, and accounting models for discrepancies and vulnerabilities.
- Architectural leadership in the resolutions of inter-program and inter-project issues.
- Create methods for compliance architecture, such as data storage, metadata management, and change control.
- Contribute and participate in technical deliverables.

**Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience**

**Work experience and proven technical skills**:

- 6 to 12 years work experience in software development, IT management, data science and/or enterprise architecture lead position. (We are looking for a relatively young individual, but with solid and relevent work exprience.)
- Practical work experience in leading and executing IT projects, using various methodologies such as Scrum, Devops, and Agile.
- Good business analysis and design leadership and skills.
- Having actual software development experience would be a good plus.
- Understanding and using cloud infrastructure technologies such as AWS, Azure and Google.
- The ability to define and then execute on an organisational IT strategy.

**Education**
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in information technology (i.e. information science or computer science).
- Advantageous: Qualifications or short courses in enterprise architecture models or methods.
- Advantageous: Qualifications or short courses in software development.
- Advantageous: Short courses in data analysis, trending, reporting, visualization or other data techniques.
- Advantageous: Qualifications or short courses in business analysis and design.
