Supply Chain Manager, with Manufacturing/Production experience required for well-established manufacturing company in Randfontein. This is a contract position for 6-months only.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the overall procurement, stocking, receiving and delivery of supplies, parts and material
- Co-ordinate the full cycle of Procurement, Warehouse and Logistics management
- Negotiate with suppliers and communicate with internal customers
- Nurture and encourage good relationships with vendors - existing and new
- Manage both internal and external customer’s expectations
- Management of Inventory
- Budgeting and cost control of the Supply chain function
- Identification of bottlenecks and implementation of suitable solutions
- Monitor quality, quantity, stock levels, lead times and efficiency
- Continuously analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements as may be needed
- Ensure proper housekeeping as well as compliance to the OSH Act
- Maintenance of all the stores tools, equipment and functional areas
- Management of the departmental staff - including training, coaching and discipline
- Foster positive working environment and maintain good staff morale

- Grade 12
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is preferred
- **MUST HAVE 5 years Manufacturing/Production support experience as a Supply Chain Manager - This is Non-negotiable.**:

- Valid Code 10 driver’s license
- Good Management and leadership skills
- Computer literate - MS Office
- Extensive experience with ERP and MRP systems is a must (Evolution/Pastel would be beneficial)
- Good Database management experience is essential
- Good communication skills - Both verbal and written with all levels of staff
