**Brief Job Description**

COOi Studios is looking for a Technology Intern to leverage technology solutions to fulfil overall organizational objectives of the company. They will accomplish this by developing and implementing functional and cost-effective AI technology systems. The technology intern will interact with clients to better understand their technological requirements. They will develop and analyse functional specifications, as well as collaborate with developers to create and deploy technological solutions.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
- No experience is required for this role.

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborative design AI and other emerging technology solutions
- Build and deploy AI and other emerging technology; software models and algorithms
- Test, maintain and recommend AI tools to ensure strong functionality and optimisation
- Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications and best practice
- Designing and building (code), test beta/mínimal viable product (MVP) AI solutions on AWS

- Prepared to approach technical issues logically and persistently. Imaginative, with skills in creative reasoning
- Able to explain problems clearly, collaborate with team members, and ask thoughtful questions. Required to work independently and or as part of a team.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable with shifting priorities or unfamiliar tasks.
- Open to new tools, concepts, and feedback - Willing to continually update personal IT skills and knowledge
- Able to manage tasks alongside studies or other responsibilities.
- Takes initiative, seeks clarification, and goes beyond assigned work when possible.
- Understands basic data privacy, security, and intellectual property principles.

**Additional**
- Willing to travel to Head Office in Johannesburg and site in Richards Bay when required
- Drivers Licence required

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: R8 000,00 - R10 000,00 per month
