Clicks is on the hunt to recruit a permanent Technical Team Leader (Business Intelligence) to work within the Group IT department. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Applications Portfolio Manager: Integration and Business Intelligence.

**Job description**:

- Ensure sufficient people capacity (requisite knowledge, skill, expertise and experience) and the effective management of people resources to meet business needs.
- Effectively manage the SLA performance of software vendors and 3rd party service providers to ensure that promises to the business are met.
- Assigns personnel to tasks and directs their activities
- Ensures that development methodologies and project disciplines are observed
- Consults with business and IT management to review project proposals, perform feasibility studies and Loyalty systems
- Manages project scope and budget and creates time lines, project and management and communicate risk plans and communication strategies to ensure successful project completion
- Responsible for managing the budget for the areas of control
- Responsible for development of Service Level Agreements and maintenance of the BI systems
- Responsible for staffing, growth and development of team members
- Responsible for performance management of team

**Minimum requirements**:
**Qualifications and Experience**:

- 5 years line/people management experience
- Project management experience of complex projects
- Experience in managing projects according to the development lifecycle
- Experience of designing complex systems
- Desirable
- Basic understanding of the POPI act, PCI and general data security compliance
