The Relationship Banker will work within the High-Net Worth Individuals (HNW) International Team based in Cape Town. The Private Banking role requires strong relationship management and acquisition of HNW clients and the ability to articulate and sell our clients bank value proposition. This individual must understand HNW individuals’ financial position (personal balance sheet/business structures/family structures) and the ability to identify opportunities is a key competent of this role.

**Requirements**:
Relevant Tertiary Degree (Preferably B. Com in Accounting/CA(SA), MBA, CFA or CIMA)

Min 5 - 6 years financial services experience in a comparable role

In depth knowledge of Deal Structuring

Ability to network within the organization

Engaging and interacting with international geographies, as networking and connecting clients is critical for this role

Experience in Wealth Management and Structured Property Finance will be advantageous

Awareness and management of compliance and regulatory frameworks in all dealings with clients

People skills, with a specific passion for socializing and networking

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work well under pressure and within a team environment

Excellent analytical and quantitative skills

Good marketing and cross-selling skills
