Operational Site Supervisor

As the Operations Supervisor, you will make sure an organisation is running as well as it possibly can, with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of customers and clients. By managing day-to-day activities, analysing statistics and reading and writing reports, operations managers play a vital role in this company.
The Operations managers also have to do a lot of liaising with other team members, including interacting with managers of different areas of the organization, presenting findings to stakeholders and higher management as well as training and supervising new employees and tracking and measuring staff performance.
Main duties of this role:
This includes but is not limited to:
- Receipt of all timesheets
- Verification of hours against the timesheets
- Delivery of payslips to employees
- Uploads on web register for approval
- Payroll queries to be done timeously
- Update and track leave schedules ( all types of leave, annual leave, sick leave, family responsibility leave, study leave)
- Managing any HR & IR issues with employees
- Tracking and updating a HR & IR tracker
- Manage employees performance regularly
- Ensure all employees are equipped with PPE and all PPE issued has been acknowledged by the employee
- Management of time and attendance of all employees
- Management of all client loss - eg, traffic fines, lost stock,
- Acknowledge of Debt (AOD) management
Other duties:
These duties include:
- Analyze and identify all performance related issues and ensure appropriate steps to prevent loss
- Provide support and join improvement based methods
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management if required.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Required knowledge, skill and abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, as assigned. The knowledge, skill & abilities required include, but are not limited to:
- Proven work experience as operations supervisor
- Basic IT skills (databases, MS Office etc)
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation
- Leadership and organisational skills
- Attention to Detail
- Organisation Skills, Superior Computer and Typing Skills, Data Entry
- Good Verbal Communication with Employees
- Capable of Working with Minimal Supervision
