The role of the Executive is to lead and manage the NTN division to exercise regulatory control over Nuclear Technology and Waste Projects facilities as well as facilities handling naturally occurring radioactive materials.

**Position details**:
Management and oversight of all regulatory decisions for the division including reviews, assessments, inspections, compliance assurance, enforcement etc.
Propose amendment of conditions of authorization as appropriate.
Staffing of the Division and all human resource management related activities such as team management, development, motivation and coaching of staff.
Provide strategic direction and monitor performance of the Division.
Risk, Audit and Legal Compliance management in the work of the Division.
Develop, propose and review the budget of the Division Information storage and retrieval in line with organisational policies.
Develop appropriate policies and processes to facilitate consistent discharge of the work of the Division in line with the Company's integrated management system.

**Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:
**Requirements**:
MSc (NQF Level 9) in Natural Science
Minimum of 10 years regulatory/nuclear industry experience with at least 8 years management experience
Management qualification

Skills and Competencies
Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Company's Act, Regulatory Philosophy, IAEA Technical documents and standards
Good Communication skills (both verbal and written)
