Excellent verbal and written communication skills. **Key Performance Areas: (Not limited to)** Technical Support Desk - Internal technical support to the departments as required. Network Maintenance - Field repairs, installation and maintenance of new radio equipment/systems (base stations & repeaters) whilst adhering to correct procedures and quality standards. - Travel when necessary to both National and International customers. Equipment Testing - Testing of our products - Fault finding down to component level. Technical Reporting - Compiling of weekly technical reports which include: Nationwide network activity reports, GPRS down time reports, "Lock On" tracking reports, Radio activity reports, Incoming call reports and Nationwide FTT reports. Sales Support - Assist sales with technical queries as needed. - Attend sales meetings in a technical capacity. - Achieve certain goals in terms of customer maintenance and contracts. Field Support - After hours Standby duty for a 7 day period as determined by business requirements and according to a predetermined schedule. This will be for both VHF and GPRS customers. - On-site support for customers during working hours for all RDC products. Training - Conducting training sessions for our customers on our products as the business requires.
