Treasury Administrator

An exciting opportunity exists for a **TREASURY ADMINISTRATOR **at **Financial Shared Services Division** in **Bryanston**, **Johannesburg**. The purpose of the role is the to ensure CIRO Foreign vendor payments are processed on the relevant CFC bank accounts as per payment proposals supplied by AP Departments. Foreign payments documentation meets SARB’s requirements and AVI Illovo’s ILOU procedure. Foreign bank statement entries are journalised onto SAP to the correct bank clearing / expense accounts to ensure creditors can manage their accounts with updated accurate information. Ensure CIRO Local and Namibia bank statements upload daily by 9.00am to SAP with relevant entries journalised to the correct expense accounts to ensure debtors and creditors can manage their accounts with updated accurate information. Local and Namibia vendor payments processed on the relevant bank accounts as supplied by AP Departments. Funds transfers processed between bank accounts to ensure CIRO AP and Namibia main bank accounts have sufficient funds to meet payments processed. Compile CIRO daily and 8 Week cash flow forecasts for submission to AVI Treasury Illovo. Additional responsibilities include, performing monthly reconciliations of all relevant bank accounts and resolving of queries. Plus performing other Treasury Clerk’s functions, during absence, thereby ensuring continuous smooth Treasury processes for local, Namibia and Zambian creditors and cash flow forecasting as well.

**Key Performance Areas**:

- ** CIRO Local, CFC and Namibia Bank Statements upload and GL accounts management on SAP**
- Manual bank statements uploaded or journalised onto SAP and correctly allocated to expense accounts.
- Host to Host automated bank statements (Ciro AR & AP) upload daily and balances agree to SAP balances.
- Clearing of bank sub-ledger accounts on SAP and resolving of all bank queries.
- Reviewing of CIRO AR and AP and Namibia bank balances and transferring funds as required accordingly.
- Responsible management of FSS Petty cash float and request for reimbursement as required
- ** CIRO local, CFC and Namibia vendor payments**
- Foreign vendor payment documentation reviewed for adherence to SARB regulations and Import Letter of Undertaking. Confirmation given to Accounts Payable team of foreign vendors payment proposals that can be processed.
- Payment proposals received from AP Dept, processed on the bank as host to host, batch import or manual payments, given to releasers and confirmed as paid.
- Returned payments reversed and given to AP dept to resolve.
- CFC vendor payments recorded on foreign payments schedules for Letter of Undertaking Board Report and for Commercial Manager to manage forex reporting.
- Namibia Loan Schedule compiled for charging of interest charges.
- Local payment proposals received from AP Dept, processed on the bank as host to host or manual payments, given to releasers and confirmed as paid..
- Returned payments reversed and given to AP dept to resolve
- ** Journals and monthly reconciliations**
- Accurately compiled journals submitted daily and at month-end before GL month end cut-off.
- Accurate, clean reconciliations of SAP Bank GL Recons and bank accounts

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- 2 Years relevant cashbook and treasury experience processing payments on any big 4 banks payment system
- 2 Years Foreign Exchange experience

**Qualifications**:

- Matric/Grade 12
- Diploma in Accounting and studying towards a Bcom
