Medium Voltage Authorized Electrician

**Job Requirements**:

- Relevant qualification (N6 Electrical and Artisan)
- A valid driver’s license.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Medium Voltage Electrician.
- Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
- Valid driver’s license
- MV electrical system, power generation, blueprints and maintenance and repair knowledge.
- Valid MV authorization Eskom

**Responsibilities**:

- MV - Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
- Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Perform general electrical maintenance.
- Inspect transformers, RMU’s and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices.
- Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
- Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
- Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
- Good knowledge of various test equipment.
- Perform MV switching
- MV jointing and termination certificate (heat shrink and cast iron)
