**Job overview**:
My client in the Financial Services Industry is looking for sales consultants to join their team.

The sales consultant assists in promoting and selling their services. They are the connecting link between a company and a client as they make sure that the needs of the client are met. The sales consultant exercises complete responsibility in assisting the branch manager in developing and managing a branch operation that increases sales, profitability, market share, and customer and employee satisfaction.

**QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE**

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Achieve individual monthly sales targets as set by management
- Provide professional ideas and strategies to improve quality of your sales force
- Ensure leads are being converted to sales through good communication, follow-ups and positive attitude
- Take participation in marketing, marketing campaigns etc to promote branch productivity
- Meet branch goals and metrics
- Ensure loan process is done e.g. Geolock
- Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company
- Identify current and prospective sales opportunities
- Retain existing clients
- Activate dormant clients
- Increase new client base
- Maintain relationships with internal and external clients
- Resolve all client related issues within set turnaround times and keep clients informed
- Maintain professional look and feel of the staff and branch (branch neatness and atmosphere)
- Complete all necessary documentation associated with a client’s loan
- Assess client vehicles and ensure all necessary checks have been made
- Ensure Original documentation and vehicle keys are locked up for safe keeping
- Verify client against I.D to eliminate fraud
- Verify all documents are true originals and are free of fraudulent changes
- To execute the marketing and selling strategies as set out by the branch manager and head office.
- Assist when required with any internal project undertaken
- Assist the organisation to achieve budgetary targets from its sales activities
- Ensure punctual attendance for all internal and external business commitments
- To perform duties to a high professional and ethical standard
- To maintain a high professional and ethical profile in accordance with industry and company standards
- Maintain a well groomed and business like appearance
- Assist with branch manager duties in the event a branch manager is on leave or should there be no branch manager in the branch.

R 8 000 - 10 000 depending on experience
