Minimum two to three years of experience in the **courier /logistic industry** in the sales environment

Driver's License with own reliable vehicle

Must have a proven track record in the sales environment

**BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB**

To secure specific strategic new business by marketing the Company's services within the geographic boundaries of the assigned region in line with the specific new business strategy of the organization.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE (but not limited to)**

**New Business Sales**

Meet and exceed monthly new business sales target

Sell the Company's services to all customers within set regional boundaries

Ensure that the account is secured in its entirety i.e.maximum potential

Negotiate gross profits in line with company objectives

**Sales Procedures and cycle**

Prospecting new clients

Secure minimum appointments per week as per company objective

Conduct needs analysis

Propose customized client solutions and rate negotiation

Follow internal policy and procedure with regard to opening a new account

Arrange and deliver stationery

Hand over to Business Development Manager

**Sales Opportunities**

Identify and secure sales opportunities with new business accounts

Optimization of sales volumes and pricing

**Sales targets**:
Ensure monthly sales targets, new account targets are achieved and exceeded

**Record-keeping**:
Maintain a daily, reliable, up-to-date customer

**Reporting**:
Report to the Sales Manager on matters such as:
Market trends

Customer suggestions, issues and complaints

Competitor activity

Attend and contribute to sales meetings

Complete and submit the sales report before the deadline as requested by Sales Manager
