**Job Title: Junior Customer Operations Coordinator**

**Site: Cape Town (Europe team)**

**Hours: 37,5 per week; Monday to Friday 08.30-17.00**

**The purpose of this role is**:

- To coordinate activities of import and/ or export shipments globally by providing exceptional customer service through focusing on the individual directly or through the support of the team members, promoting long-term customer relationships and customer loyalty.

- Assist in addressing any customer complaints that might arise from daily operations.
- Back-up work in case of absence from anyone in the team
- Work with Supervisor on any claims that arise from any of your customers / vendors.
- Work with Supervisor on any Incident and Accident reporting.
- Ensure all Operational Relationships and KPIs are met for the relevant customers and or vendors.
- Responsible for daily operations and Operations KPIs.
- Ensure customers are always notified in a timely manner on any operational issues that pertain to any of their relevant orders. Make sure this is followed up on a daily basis until resolved.
- Ensure that all Business Reports / Work Processes (Exceptions; Follow-ups; Un-invoiced; Demurrage) are completed in line with the regional KPIs.
- Ensure all Queries (Issues relating to Accounts Payable Errors) are completed and in line with the KPIs
- Ensure all Disputes (Issues relating to Accounts Receivable Errors) are completed and in line with the KPIs
- Ensure any additional costs are proactively communicated to the customers. With a key focus on additional cost billing. (Imports and exports). Ensure this is billed out in a timely manner and in line with the Standard Cost agreements in place.
