**Role purpose**:
The senior data intelligence specialist role focuses on the development and implementation of advanced data analytics and data intelligence solutions enabling data-driven decision-making, uncovering hidden insights, and identifying opportunities for growth and operational improvements across various business functions.

This role ensuring data consistency and accuracy, that ultimately drives enhanced business performance and competitiveness through informed decision-making based on comprehensive and reliable data and is the end-to-end owner of the single source of truth based on the data accuracy within the business.

**Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience**:

- Strong analytical capabilities to effectively analyse and interpret data, uncovering valuable insights and trends.
- Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualisation tools, such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid problem-solving abilities to identify and address challenges related to data analytics and business intelligence.
- The capacity to adapt to new technologies, industry trends, and evolving business requirements in the field of data analytics.
- Experience working with relational datasets, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles and practices.
- Proven track record in implementing and managing data analytics and business intelligence solutions in a tower company or similar industry.

**Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Holding a high school diploma or equivalent (Grade 12) is a prerequisite.
- Possessing a 3-year related qualification, such as a diploma or bachelor's degree, would be advantageous (preference for a BSC degree).
- A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant work experience, with a demonstrated history of success in key outputs and disciplines, is essential.
