Our client has a remarkable reputation for consistency and excellence in their service delivery on a multi-industry scale, both in South Africa and across the African continent, and they are looking to hire a Product Specialist in Locks and Lockouts for their Tools and Equipment division.

**Position details**:
Type: Permanent
Reports to: Business Unit Manager - Tools and Equipment division
Primary Purpose: To develop and grow the company’s range of Locks and Lockout devices throughout the company’s Branch Network by supporting overall Divisional business plan and growth strategy.

Job description / core competencies:

- Be accountable for achieving sales and gross margin targets.
- Build relationships with key company branches, customers and suppliers to support the achievement of strategic goals and targets for T&E Division.
- Develop and implement strategic plans aligned to the group strategy which support the ongoing growth, development, and sustainability of the business unit.
- Provide leadership and product training to the company sales team.
- Analyse the market trends by leveraging market information to maximise business opportunities.
- Assist with shows and demos where need be.

**Location**: Gauteng

**Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:
Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric). Diploma or equivalent in a technical/engineering discipline will be advantageous.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in sales.

**Skills**:

- Locks and Lockout Device product knowledge (essential).
- Valid drivers’ licence.
- Must be computer literate.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Timely, well organized and deadline driven.
- Exceptional selling skills and with good verbal and written communication.
