This position is an ideal opportunity to deepen your understanding of the car rental business within a fast-paced, exciting industry.
**Position Overview**:
The purpose of this role is to ensure accurate investigation of claim-related queries. To effectively manage the out of service vehicle requirements and ensure downtime of each vehicle is monitored and kept within acceptable limits.
**Specific Role Responsibilities**:
**Job Outputs**:
- Action vehicles in panel shop lines that can be processed throughout the day.
- Mark out of service vehicles properly and park vehicle in allocated parking area
- Generate non revs to panel shops.
- Resolving out of service related queries within set time frame or escalate matter if required.
- Daily reporting of delays/down days
- Resolving of Claims related queries.
- Following up on outstanding documentation from branches.
- Distribution, follow up and collection of damaged vehicles to work/panel shops.
- Maintaining relationships with external workshops and panel shops.
- Ensure all claim related documents are scanned once updating of systems are completed.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure work areas are always maintained clean and safe.
- Assist with vehicle movements when required.
- Conduct an inspection of vehicles against the inspection and safety requirements of the vehicles.
- Assist with daily fleet checks as required.
- All other varied and general administrative duties not specified.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
**Minimum Experience**
- 1 years of relevant administration experience
**Minimum Qualification**
- Grade 12
**Preferred Qualification**
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
**Minimum Requirement**
- Valid unendorsed driver’s license
- Computer literacy with a high level of accuracy
- Be prepared to work overtime when necessary.
