MHR is currently looking for an experienced **GBV Clinical care co-ordinator (SOCIAL WORKER)**for a **1 year fixed term**contract** starting **asap** in **Stellenbosch**in **the Western Cape**
**NB**: Please note that the client requires the Social Worker only to work** 20 hours per week**
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Diploma or Degree in Social Work
- Must be registered with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP)
- Certification in community based care work (will serve as an advantage)
- 2 years operational experience in a clinical care setting
- 2 - 3 years managerial/ training experience (will serve as an advantage)
- Sound knowledge of the Emergency Medical Services environment and hospital environment
- Demonstrate ability to professionally communicate with stakeholders internal and external
- Demonstrate ability to word professional communication to the public and stakeholders
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication
- Sound knowledge of Customer Relations Practices
- Sound knowledge of Mediclinic and ER24 Patient Experience principles
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB**
To serve as the manager for establishing a gender based violence infrastructure and network at Mediclinic hospitals in Southern Africa
- Manage and coordinate the process of implementing the gender based violence clinical care model
- Continuous quality improvement for victims of gender based violence at Mediclinic
- Manage key account and stakeholder relations
- Co-ordinate and ensure support for staff who either are for victims of GBV, or staff who are directly affected by GBV
