**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a Quality Controller or Inspector in a steel fabrication environment is essential
- In-depth knowledge of steel fabrication processes, including welding, cutting, forming, and assembly
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, ISO 9001).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills to identify and resolve quality issues
- Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate inspection findings clearly
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Certification in quality control (e.g., Certified Welding Inspector) is highly desirable
- High level of integrity and commitment to upholding quality standards

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough inspections and quality control checks at various stages of the steel fabrication process, including raw materials, welding, cutting, forming, and assembly
- Verify compliance with engineering specifications, drawings, and customer requirements
- Identify and report any deviations or non-conformities promptly to the fabrication team for corrective action
- Collaborate with production personnel to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective measures
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of inspection findings, test results, and corrective actions taken
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fabrication processes and product quality
- Conduct final inspections prior to shipment to ensure all products meet quality standards and customer expectations
- Provide guidance and training to fabrication personnel on quality control procedures and best practices
- Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations related to steel fabrication.
