**QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s degree in quality assurance, engineering or related field
- Minimum 4 - 7 years of experience in a QA role within a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory capacity
- Certification in quality systems (e.g., CQE, CQA, Six Sigma, ISO Auditor)
- Knowledge of GMP
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulatory and compliance standards

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES**
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards such as ISO 9001 and GMP
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate third-party or supplier audits
- Oversee the inspection and testing of packaging and finished products
- Establish and monitor quality control metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting systems
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) are properly executed and documented
- Implements efficient document control to ensure that only valid documents are utilized across the whole organization
- Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are completed and updated
- Manage and mentor the QA team
- Set clear goals, conduct performance reviews, and provide training to ensure team competency
- Foster a quality-focused culture across the organization
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and problem-solving initiatives
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to implement process improvements that enhance product quality
- Assisting in management of change processes
- Serve as the primary contact for quality-related customer issues and complaints related to packaging
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct supplier audits when necessary
- Work with suppliers and vendors to resolve non-conformances and improve quality
