**The Schedules & Aircraft Movement Specialist**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Flight following;
- Operational Flight Plan preparation and distribution for FlySafair flights;
- Active CTOT Management;
- Operating the OCC telephones;
- Monitoring of non-normal operations procedures and guidelines;
- Distribution of all ETA’s to external and internal service providers through all channels as detailed in the WI for Operations Support;
- Flight Preparation (including ATS flight Plans, Sign-on sheets, eCFR’s, eRTOW’s)
- Distribution of the Operational Daily Flight Movement and revisions;
- Capture and storage of all pre-and post-flight data and forms;
- Assisting with formulating alternative plans with least amount of schedule impact during Irregular Operations;
- Ensure they are aware of the status of all aircraft during their shift;
- Advising relevant parties of any company related delays;
- Communication with all relevant staff, aircrew, engineering, management, etc;
- Liaise with Flight Line, Crew and AMC to arrange all services as required;
- Assist in the preparation and finalization of arrangements in respect of additional scheduled flights, charter flights and flights of a training or maintenance nature;
- Any other work as delegated by the Supervisor;
- Managing Operations Safe contents and distribution as required.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent;
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an aviation operations environment;
- Restricted Radiotelephony License will be an advantage;
- Good communication skills (both oral and written) are essential, fluency in English;
- Willing and able to work shifts (including weekends and public holidays);
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
