Senior Quality Control Technician

**Location**: Midrand, South Africa
**Key Responsibilities**:
Develop and maintain inspection reports
Ensure compliance to standards and specifications of the company as well as the country’s
Maintain calibration of quality control equipment
Perform inspections according to testing plan of raw materials and finished products
Run GC, interpret results and resolve root cause analysis related to equipment autonomously
CpK analysis and plotting the data
Must have experience in one or more ERP system SAP/ LIMS
Follows all lab and site Safety and GMP rules
Participate in, and lead daily Flavour sensory evaluation panels per established guidelines
Prepare and analyse products for Shelf-life testing
Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards
Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly
Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency
Ensure non-conformances pertaining product safety and quality are resolved on time as per SAP notification.
**We value**:
A tertiary qualification
Minimum of 5 - 10 years of inspection and/or production experience (Flavour industry experience preferred)
Excellent organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information punctually
In the absence of relevant qualifications, experience in the relevant field and at the relevant level will be considered
