**GENERAL MANAGER - GAME RESERVE - MPUMALANGA - R40000 - R50000PM depending on experience**

The Right Company are currently looking for an experienced General Manager to be responsible for the overall management of all operational facets of the Game Reserve - including 3 Camps.

This involves the management of the Heads of Department and the responsibilities they cover. The role will also manage the requirements of the land owned by the Trust - ensuring this is adequately maintained and all standards are in line with the requirements of the Associated Private Nature Reserves (APNR). All relationships within the APNR, including those with landowners, managers and the management of the reserves must be maintained, and the company’s name and history upheld at all times.

The General Manager is the face of The Game Reserve

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Must have previous management experience and knowledge of the game lodge industry a desired positive.
- Must be a good communicator and speak English clearly
- Must have knowledge of budgeting and financial management
- Must have an eye for detail
- Customer service experience
- Must be able to plan, prioritise and work well under pressure.
- Must be a good team player and also have the ability and motivation to work under own instruction
- Must have good computer skills - both MS Excel and MS Word in particular.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES All employees may be required to complete other reasonable tasks as part of the successful day-to-day operation of The Reserve. Teamwork and communication are vital. By continuously working hard at establishing and nurturing relationships to provide a level of service excellence that will exceed guests’ expectations. **Salary**: R40k - R50k depending on experience Accommodation: 2 bedroom house, spouse & kids are welcome. Nearest school is in Hoedspruit Provident: 50% Employer / 50% Employee Medical Aid: Discovery 50% company contribution to the maximum of an Essential Saver premium but for the employee only. Family members can be on the membership but that will be for his/her own account
