Coordinator: Academic Administration

**- Preparation, design and editing of the Academic Calendar, University Calendars and other publications
- Coordinate, maintain information and oversee processes as it relates to student enrolment, and ensure an integrated system and consistency
- Report on the compliance trends within the Marks Administration System (MAS) and propose changes to workflow processes in MAS
- Update and maintain integrity of the data on Academic Programme(s) (AP)
- Oversee, prepare and implement Student Administration System (SASI) processes for registration as per the approved programme curricula
- Monitor systems to ensure programme and rule maintenance, promotions and report on the integrity of the promotions as per SASI system
- Coordinate and plan the institution class timetable
- Implementation and management of the administrative regulatory framework
- Facilitate sessions for key academic administration processes when required
**Minimum Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (NQF7)
- Honours Degree would be advantageous
- Five years' relevant working experience within Higher Education and Academic Administration, including at least two years in a training or facilitation position
- Experience in coordinating and compiling rule books and year books
- Demonstrated experience and a deep understanding regarding the functionality of academic administration and student administration IT systems and processes

- Good presentation and facilitation skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Report writing skills
- Ability to work under pressure and be prepared to work after hours
