**Who are we?**

Sanlam Investments Multi Manager researches, identifies, blends and manages portfolios that give you access to the best investment managers, with the aim of achieving the best possible returns at the appropriate level of risk. We design and blend unique portfolios based on a deep understanding of our clients’ investment aims and a fundamental insight into how they perceive risk. By developing a mutual understanding of their investment aim and philosophy we are able to assist them in achieving their investment goals in the long run.
- Objective of the role- This is a role in the investment team of Sanlam Multi-Manager International that requires an individual to provide end to end investment solutions servicing to our institutional and retail client bases. This includes:
**Key responsibilities**:

- Understanding the hedge fund market environment and peer universe
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fund managers
- Manage a team of research analysts
- Responsible for researching and selecting skillful hedge funds locally and globally
- Play a strategic role in forming hedge fund solutions for institutional and retail clients
- Preparing reporting and providing feedback to current and potential clients and well as the broader investment team and business partners
- Managing hedge fund solutions for clients and business partners
- Supporting the various business units in their consumption of hedge fund solutions
- Building and maintaining strategic partnerships with current clients, potential clients and business partners
- Contributing to the macroeconomic evolution of the local and global markets for the purpose of setting the strategic asset allocation

**What will make you successful in this role?**

**Minimum Experience Level and Essential Qualification**:

- CAIA, CFA or Actuarial Qualifications
- 5-10 years related experience
