- Perform a comprehensive administrative support function with regard to all Occupational Health and Safety matters
- Maintain and update Occupational Health and Safety registers of incoming and outgoing safety correspondence.
- Organise/coordinate periodic safety training as required
- Assist with incident investigation and random safety inspections
- Capturing of incidents/injuries on relevant database
- General office administration.
- Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management from time to time
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Grade 12
- SAMTRAC Certificate
- National Diploma in Safety Management will be an added advantage
- Computer Literate (MSWord, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Code EB (08) Driver’s License
- Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills
- Skills and competencies associated with vocation: adaptability, communication, assertiveness/leadership skills, conflict and stress management, negotiation skills, problem solving skills, office/diary management skills, strong administrative skills, writing and typing skills, attention to detail.
- 2-3 year’s relevant experience within safety management environment
