**Responsibilities**:

- Develop a strong understanding of labor law and regulations, or show a keen interest in acquiring this knowledge.
- Represent and advocate for union members in disputes, grievances, and negotiations at the CCMA (Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration) and bargaining councils.
- Actively recruit new members to strengthen the union and amplify our collective voice.
- Provide comprehensive service and support to union members, ensuring their rights are protected and upheld.
- Collaborate with legal advisors and experts to build strong cases and strategies in support of workers' rights.

**Requirements**:

- Interest in labor law and willingness to acquire knowledge in this field.
- Demonstrated ability to represent and service members at the CCMA and bargaining councils.
- Proven track record in recruiting members and growing union membership.
- Passion for fighting for workers' rights and promoting social justice.
- Willingness to undergo training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
