**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Manage inventory - FIFO / Returns etc.
- Daily Cycle counts
- Monthly stock counts
- Receiving of incoming RM / ingredient and Packaging
- Transfer of stock (Raws and Finished goods)
- Ensure spreadsheets, documents, filing, and dashboards are accurate and up to date.
- When stock shortages occur liaise with factory and transfer stock from cage
- Check expiry dates
- Supervise time of off-loading pallets and crates returned
- Check cleanliness of stock and crates
- Check pallets are packed correctly
- Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are always adhered to.
- Ensure staff members are trained, coached and developed based on identified training needs
- Ensure general discipline in the Department and ensure corrective action is taken on all misconduct incidents
- Adhere to all Warehouse policies, procedures and requirements
- Monitor team and staff morale and address any issues of concern
- Ensure alignment of all work processes to the required quality standards.
- Use and adhere to quality procedures, SOP’s and check sheets.
- Proactively identify continual improvement strategies
- Implement corrective action in time.
- Ensure adherence to requirements of food safety procedures and standards (e.g HACCP, FSSC.
- Look after safety hazards, accidents and incidents to your manager.
- Keep your work area clean and tidy.
- Look after your own health and the environment
- Ensure that personal hygiene/cleanliness is always and maintained
