The core of our Financial Services Platform is a fully interoperable, cloud-ready composite platform delivering real-time value transfer and settlement, enhanced by a range of value-added services. The platform will leverage technological advancements aimed at:

- Managing complex volumes
- Faster deployment and faster change
- Personalised user experiences, with standardised platform experiences being the norm

Doing more will be realised through our creation of platform extension partners who will benefit from our standardised API capability which they in turn can offer to their clients, giving more. We aim to include new Market Actors through our value chain extension which will allow 'pass-through' connection in those cases where an existing actor passes services through a new actor enabling them to give more to the ecosystem without compromising the security or the role of the heavily regulated financial institutions.
- WHAT YOU WILL DOThe main purpose of this role is to drive the RPP Technical Analysis activities between BSA, Industry Participants and Offshore delivery teams and ensure technical requirements and build specifications align to business requirements. Understand RPP messaging and provide consultation on design, development and maintenance of system using appropriate domestic or international message standards and understand payment delivery and processing.

**Your key responsibilities include**:
**Product Development**
- Analyse BankservAfrica systems and plan and implement payment message formats to align with global best practice
- Manage regular review and release of message standards developed by BankservAfrica
- Drive change of processing payments in BankservAfrica systems to align with international standards

**Business Improvement**
- Drive the adoption of appropriate new tools for managing payment messages and standards.
- Develop and maintain a model of Bankservafrica’s current and future Interbank Product architecture regarding Message Standards

**QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE**
- Degree in Computer Science or higher
- Knowledge of Payment Systems
- Knowledge on full SDLC
- Technical Tools and Development Exposure
- Database design knowledge is an advantage
- Required computer literacy levels

**EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Financial Services Information Technology related Projects
- Minimum of 4 years in a professional senior analyst role
