Security Supervisor

**Job Title: Day Shift Security Supervisor (Grade B) - Residential Estate**
- Job Summary:_

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Supervision and Team Management**: Lead, supervise, and provide guidance to a team of Grade C security guards, ensuring all duties are carried out effectively during the day shift.

**Patrolling and Site Inspections**: Conduct regular foot patrols of the estate, covering all key areas such as entrances, perimeters, communal areas, and any high-risk zones. Ensure all security measures are in place and operational.

**Client Interaction and Support**: Respond promptly to resident inquiries, assist with any security-related concerns, and provide a visible and approachable presence within the estate.

**Access Control and Monitoring**: Oversee and enforce strict access control procedures, including checking identification and permits, managing visitor logs, and ensuring the safe entry and exit of all vehicles and personnel.

**Incident Response**: Respond to alarms, disturbances, or suspicious activities in a timely manner, coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.

**Reporting and Documentation**: Prepare detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and maintain accurate records of security operations.

**Health and Safety Compliance**: Ensure all security practices are aligned with health and safety regulations, particularly in emergency situations like evacuations.

**Equipment Management**: Ensure that all security equipment (radios, CCTV systems, patrol vehicles, etc.) is in working order and regularly maintained.
- **Qualifications and Skills**:_
- Valid Grade B PSIRA security certification.
- Proven experience in a security supervisory role, preferably in a residential or estate environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and residents.
- Hands-on approach, willing to engage in patrols and actively manage on-the-ground operations.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 2 weeks

Pay: R8 000,00 per month

Expected hours: No less than 42 per week
