Company Overview

We are a small but successful marine supply company based in Port Elizabeth. Our clients are primarily international vessels docking at the port for short stays. We specialize in sourcing and supplying a wide range of technical equipment quickly and efficiently.
We’re hiring an enthusiastic, technically minded individual to join our team as a Technical Sales Assistant. No previous experience is required - we’ll provide full training. This is a great opportunity to grow within a fast-paced industry while gaining valuable technical and sales skills.
Responsibilities

Source technical items and equipment from suppliers across South Africa

Prepare accurate, time-sensitive quotations

Arrange transport, collections, and deliveries

Confirm quantities and product accuracy before dispatch

Generate invoices and perform basic admin tasks

Liaise with local suppliers and customers

Work with a small team to meet tight vessel deadlines
Requirements

No experience required - training will be provided

Technically inclined or have a good general knowledge of tools, hardware, valves, etc.

Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer use

Excellent planning and organisational skills

Own transport is essential
What We Offer

Starting salary: ~R10,000/month (negotiable depending on experience)

Office-based role with mínimal driving

On-the-job training provided
