**Minimum requirements for the role**:

- A BComm Supply Chain or B Tech Degree or relevant tertiary qualification in the chemical process planning environment or industrial engineering field is preferred for this role.
- An ASCM CPIM designation is essential.
- Previous experience having worked within an engineering stores control role or related role within a chemical environment is essential.
- Previous experience having worked on SAP or a related ERP system is essential.
- Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Managing the materials requirements planning process for MRO store materials.
- Expediting of overdue and urgent Purchase Requests.
- Identifying, analysing, and addressing gaps in inventory processes.
- Analysing stock to ensure optimal stock levels are held.
- Initiating and motivating material change requests to Maintenance.
- Developing and implementing, policies, processes, and procedures within the area of responsibility.
- Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.
- Conducting inspections on MRO materials against specifications as required.
- Understanding and performing required SAP transactions relating to all authorized goods movements.
- Performing monthly, weekly and daily reporting.
