- Leads the development of department goals, objectives, and processes ensuring that all actions are aligned with business Strategy.
- Drive the company’s engagement strategies within the Technical team
- Recruitment, transfer, and promotion of skilled and talented workforce within the Technical team in line with the company’s EE requirements.
- Using the forecast budgets, ensure that plans are put in place to grow the technical department as required to meet the demands both locally and outside SA borders.
- Ensure Department policies and legal guidelines are communicated throughout the company and that they are always followed
- Set company policies for the Technical Department (Product Management) as well as the Technical service team.
- Continuously search ways to ensure optimal cost utilisation for all business activities

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- 5 years senior management experience
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Renewable energy
- Experience in managing teams remotely within multiple regions is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Solar Panels, Inverters, Battery storage.
- Internal and external customer focus
- Detail orientated with Project Management Skills
- Ability to identify potential problems and provide and implement solutions
- Target driven and Ability to Prioritise tasks
- Ability to analyse and interpret data in a Process-Driven Environment
- Previous exposure to technology products
