We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Catering Manager to oversee the catering operations of a school hostel in Pietermaritzburg. If you have a passion for providing nutritious meals, managing a kitchen, and ensuring students have a great dining experience, we'd love to hear from you

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee the daily catering operations of the school hostel.
- Plan and create balanced, nutritious menus for students.
- Supervise the kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and service standards are met.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control kitchen costs.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in catering management (school or hostel setting preferred).
- Relevant qualification in catering, hospitality, or related field.
- A passionate and innovative attitude.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

**Advantageous Qualifications**:

- Culinary background with chef experience is highly desirable.
