**Manage the Central Distribution Operations**
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly operations planning to minimize cost and losses and maximize performance and target levels.
- Manage daily warehouse operations of receiving, put away, inventory, picking and dispatching, systematic alignment.
- Ensure that warehouse layout, equipment and systems are optimally aligned for maximum efficiency.
- Review and implement lean supply chain principles to improve the cost, quality, and delivery products.
- Develop strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
- Set goals and targets for operational managers. Track progress and overcome obstacles to support plant goals.
- Direct operation activities and coordinate with operational team.
- Develop and execute operational goals and strategies to support company objectives including initiatives geared towards operational cost savings.
- Implement and utilise reporting and gap analysis tools to provide roadmap for improvement in all operations.
- Analyse data produced in CDC to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Deliver annual productivity objectives.
- Use sales forecast to prepare the operational strategic plan to address volume and resource requirements and constraints.
- Achieve all agreed targets for People (safety, absence, engagement), Customer Service (OTIF, serviceability), Business Process (order fill rate, waste management), Financial (OPEX, inventory days) and other metrics.

Manage all elements of inventory process in the context of the area of responsibility.
- Ensure that the CDC stock is managed and maintained in such a way that reduces shrinkage and stock loss.
- Manage warehouse stock losses within the agreed KPI.
- Reduce and minimise damages within the CDC.
- Conduct quarterly wall to wall stock takes and manage daily cycle counts ensuring stock accuracy and bin accuracy are maintained as per the agreed KPI.
- Optimise warehouse layout based on throughput to ensure efficiency and warehouse optimisation.
- Ensure Inventory discrepancies and adjustments are investigated and corrected.
- Implement effective stock loss practices to ensure that regular stock audits occur (planned and as-required audits).
- Implement the necessary security measures to reduce warehouse shrinkage.
- Manage and report damages and implement corrective plans.
- Daily root analysis of inventory discrepancies.

**WMS System Management**
- Ensure the effective Management of the WMS system.
- Ensure all processes are documented in area of accountability.
- Ensure that WMS data is maintained accurately and that the system balances daily.
- Ensure weekly system sync between ADOR and SYSPRO.
- Identifies critical operational pain points regarding system gaps.
- Identify and implement new technologies in warehouse to help track and identify key issues (e.g., root causes of scrap, process bottlenecks, stock validation).
- Responsible for analysis of data produced in CDC to identify opportunities for improvement.

Customer Service
- Maintain a positive working relationship with Branch and warehouse managers across Grandmark.
- Ensure SLA adherence to service levels.
- Request and implement suggestions for improvement.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with the supply chain team to ensuring effective logistics and open communication.

**Budget and Expenditure management**
- Manage expense budget to ensure controllable costs are reduced.
- Ensure all Expenses are approved in accordance with SOP’s.
- Ensure that Grandmark funds are applied in the most effective way.
- Reduce wastage.
- Leverage buying power to negotiate pricing and issues with vendors in conjunction with purchasing and sales management.
- Analyse opportunities to improve performance and reduce costs.
- Control all 3rd party service provider costs.
- Present monthly management report with performance analysis and improvement plans.
- Review expenses and costs and explain over or under expenditure.
- Improve and reduce operational costs.
- Increase productivity in revenue per Employee.
- Customer Fill Rate/On-Time delivery/Perfect Order Percentage
- Oversee and participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance.
- of annual operating budgets, ensuring that operations are managed within established guidelines.
- Manage fixed and variable cost as per budgets with monthly corrective action.
- Identify and implement cost reduction programs without forfeiting performance, improvements, or long-term sustainability.
- Align financial goals of each department to the overall business objectives.
- Re-forecast on exceptions on adjusted volumes and revised budget
- Gap analysis to be performed on variances and corrected with in the quarter.

**Staff leadership and Management**
- Monitor weekly throughput rates and address out of line situations.
- Monitor and manage operational performance measures, ensure that staff take ownership of their departments’ performance and
