As a Critical Facilities Intern, you’ll join a dynamic team that ensures the reliability and optimal performance of data centers powering cloud services and large enterprises. You’ll gain unmatched hands-on experience in maintaining cutting-edge technology and tackling real-world challenges with expert engineers by your side. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
1. Asset & System Maintenance- Be a key player in keeping engineering assets at their best performance.- Conduct routine monitoring and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and fire suppression systems to keep our operations running smoothly.- Record system readings and help identify and address any anomalies, ensuring all systems meet performance and safety standards.
2. Emergency & Incident Support- Support the team during system incidents with troubleshooting, recovery efforts, and implementing backup protocols.- Participate in drills to ensure you’re prepared for any scenario, and maintain logs to contribute to operational excellence and compliance.
3. Collaboration & Learning- Work alongside industry leaders and teams to ensure secure, seamless operations.- Join team meetings, engage in safety training, and actively contribute to process improvements.- Expand your skills with hands-on tasks, mentorship, and ongoing learning initiatives.
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT- Education: ND/N6 in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.- Experience: 0-1 year of experience in electrical/mechanical systems preferred.- Skills & Competencies: A strong desire to learn, adaptability, analytical thinking, attention to detail, proficiency in MS Office, and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act standards. Most importantly, you’re a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
