The Department:
The Country Management Department is responsible for all aspects of the business for their particular region(s). With the CRM team within the department responsible for optimising all stages of the customer lifecycle to ultimately retain the customers for longer, and ensure they are playing in a safe and responsible manner. This includes the creation, segmentation and execution of campaigns, as well as the reporting on our main KPIs.
Purpose of the Role:
The CRM Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the CRM Strategy to increase customer lifetime value across the Betway sports, casino and eSports product. The role will be responsible for expanding the CRM programme across Canada. The role involves people management, with five CRM Executives reporting into you, and you will also be working closely with the central CRMX team to roll-out global projects with a Canadian look and feel. Ultimately this role requires a good understanding of how to use technology and data to improve the effectiveness of CRM campaigns.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Leading the efforts of the Betway CRM team to meet customer requirements.
- The measurement, reporting and optimisation of all CRM activities.
- Managing a team of 5 CRM executives, overseeing their personal development and performance reviews.
- Building relationships with stakeholders in the wider business to deliver on larger projects.
- Creating and manage both the event/sport focussed and lifecycle CRM calendars.
- Ensuring all promotions and communications are aligned to business value(s).
- Implementing personalisation strategies based on a data driven approach.
- Identifying gaps to develop new processes and procedures to ensure CRM best practice and alignment.
- Identifying new innovative opportunities and industry leading CRM strategies.

Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrate consistent behaviour with the organizational culture
- Verbal and written English
- Strong leadership & analytical skills with a real attention to detail
- A passion for CRM and data insights
- Project management and delivery focused
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple assignments whilst liaising with a variety of stakeholders
- Proven experience creating and delivering promotional campaigns that increase revenue and improve customer retention
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in the Betting Industry
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Content Builder, Journey Builder etc.)
- Written French
- Knowledge of the Canadian market
- Strong problem-solving skills in understanding and diagnosing solutions
- Experience with excel in some capacity
