**Position Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Perform Economic Sanctions checks for the data/claims, where the client has provided the mínimal set of values required for the OFAC checking process, within the required turnaround times.
- Report any matches or potential matches to OFAC.
- Ensure that Economic Sanctions input files and proof of Economic Sanctions run, and completion dates are saved and accessible.
- Use the workflow tool.
- Update and complete Economic Sanctions tracker on a timeous basis.
- Complete monthly review forms by the last working day of the month.
- Follow up with Operation Analysts when files are due but have not been received.
- Escalate non-compliance to Head of Operations.
- Wave all Economic Sanctions hits within 5 days of identification.
- Implement internal compliance policies and procedures to adhere to Economic Sanctions regulations.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of matric
- Requires understanding and knowledge of Economic Sanctions procedures and concepts.
- Risk assessment skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Has good verbal and written skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proactive team player
- Proficient in office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
