A position has become available in the IT Department at the Century City Office, Cape Town for a Product Manager. The Product Manager will be accountable for the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Groups set of IT products within the customer and marketing business areas. This position forms a key role in the IT Product team and will own the product prioritization, feature sets and lifecycle. A hands-on role that includes analysis, design, user stories and working as the product owner in an agile team.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Graduate degree or similar in IT, Engineering, Commerce or Marketing
- 3+ years’ experience in product management
- In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
- Working knowledge of product development architecture
- Proficiency in the use of analytic tools
- Ability to prioritize effectively
- Excellent knowledge of user-centred design principles
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to work with matrix-orientated teams
- Understanding of design quality standards

**Product Management**
- Drives business requirements and product feature definition for each product portfolio to ensure a seamless end-to-end digital customer experience
- Defines and assigns features to specific releases to meet key business objectives and serving customer expectations
- Leads with data-centric KPIs, OKRs and business improvement efforts.
- Sets product prioritisation and ensures appropriate delivery through a cross functional team
- Active team member in business and IT teams to drive business objectives through product market fit
- Serves as key integration point with IT development, business process, architecture and business leadership
- Establishes and monitors customer satisfaction and other KPIs to define the success of our digital experiences; identifies and lead efforts to analyse results and continuously improve our performance through product improvements
- Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements
- Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development
- Plan, evaluate and manage budget for Product on a monthly and yearly basis.
- Developing user stories
- Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
- Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates
- Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints
- Continuously improve product engagement through active customer development and testing
