**The Role**:
The starting salary for this role will be **R20,000.00.**
**Responsibilities included but not limited to**:

- Managing a portfolio of clients (+/- 50 to 60) / Regular Client Communications
- Monthly Bookkeeping and Processing
- Monthly Performance Reporting (to Clients)
- Filing of payroll returns (EMP201, EMP501, Return of Earnings etc.)
- Monthly calculation of payroll and payroll taxes
- Calculation and reconciliation of VAT and submission of VAT returns
- Revision of processed data & reconciliations for the use in VAT calculations and the reporting
- Compilation of Trial balances and monthly Management Accounts
- Bank & Credit Card Reconciliations - Verifying financial transactions and ensuring accuracy in financial records.
- Cash Flow Monitoring - Assisting clients in tracking and managing their cash flow.
- Year-End Financial Preparation - Supporting clients with year-end closing processes and preparing financial data for accountant
- Tax Compliance Support - Assisting with provisional tax calculations and other tax-related requirements.
- Process Improvement & Efficiency - Identifying opportunities to streamline bookkeeping and accounting processes for clients.
- Maintaining Financial Records - Ensuring all records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Assisting with Financial Queries - Responding to client inquiries related to financial transactions and reporting.
- Liaise with auditors on behalf of clients

**Qualifications / Experience**:

- BComm (ideal) / Diploma with strong experience will be considered
- Experience in a multi-client service environment
- Experience with SARS eFiling platforms
- Experience with Xero, SimplePay and Hubdoc software
