**The Role**:
Crypto Banter creates multiple design assets on a daily basis for our YouTube shows. These design thumbnails encapsulate the story in the most eye-catching, interesting manner and act as a marketing asset for each show. We are looking for an art director with crypto knowledge that can assist the design team in conceptualizing and executing these designs and thumbnails on a daily basis. This role requires experience and knowledge of crypto to understand stories or news events and translate that understanding into punchy, eye-catching and impactful thumbnails to be used and packaged with the content that is distributed.
- ⁠ ⁠Has 5+ years design skills
- ⁠ ⁠Is an experienced art director
- ⁠ ⁠Has sufficient knowledge of crypto and crypto content
- ⁠ ⁠Watches Crypto Youtube channels regularly and understands the mechanics behind YouTube’s backend
- Strong understanding of click through rates
- ⁠ ⁠Has strong copywriting and communication skills
- ⁠ ⁠Can lead a team of 5+ people with ease
- ⁠ ⁠Hard worker and works well under pressure/time constraints
- ⁠ ⁠Can turn crypto news stories into thumbnails (concept and execution)

**Roles And Responsibilities**:

- ⁠ ⁠Lead a design team of 4 people
- ⁠ ⁠Work alongside the design lead
- ⁠ ⁠Conceptualise design ideas and manage execution
- ⁠ ⁠Art directions and execution for any other projects
- ⁠ ⁠Build a seamless and efficient design process
- ⁠ ⁠Writing Thumbnail descriptions
- ⁠ ⁠Join morning calls to learn all news for that day (Relay stories to team)
- ⁠ ⁠Work alongside stream team to ensure all assets are ready for show
