We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Cape Town on a permanent basis. The right person will be wanting to work within an intelligent, motivated, self-driven team with low egos, good communication skills and an effective problem-solving approach.

You would be very conscious of the importance of sharing knowledge and building other team members in the process. Our team must be able to tune into the needs of clients and their higher objectives to solve problems where not all the information is readily available.

**Key Responsibilities of Role**:

- Lead a team of IT professionals.
- Successful delivery of projects from initiation to deployment.
- Drive, review, manage, control and report on project progress.
- Manage project costs against budget.
- Manage the prioritisation and assignment of work.
- Manage the client relationship on various levels, from top management to on-the-ground stakeholders.
- Feed into and consult on the analysis of client projects.
- Act as sounding board and conduct review sessions with staff.
- Provide management feedback on project team members.
- Mentorship of team members.
- Proven SDLC experience.
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodology.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- **Software development** orientated **3/4 year degree** or equivalent (e.g. B.Com Information Systems or B.Sc Comp Sci or Elec Eng).
- Minimum 4-5 years software development Project Management experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to multitask and work on multiple projects at a given time.
- Comfortable with client communications.
- Strong team leadership capability.
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage expectations.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in line with business objectives.
- Willing to work in various time zones.
