Our fast-pace Montague Gardens warehouse is looking for a young energetic individual to join our team in the sales and merchandising department. We are looking for a meticulously coordinated merchandiser to help us maintain our presence in our customer's stores. The opportunity has arisen for a fulltime position, with the responsibility including but not limited to: - Ensure that proper levels of stock are maintained in our customer’s stores, and that the merchandise is displayed appropriately and favourable shelf placement. - Taking orders in store base on the required quantity vs what’s in stock. - Monitor sales volumes, inspect inventory levels, and maintain in-store promotional materials throughout promotional periods - Provide service and maintain good working relationships with retailers in order to help both the retailer and the division maximise sales and increase sales volumes - Perform audits regularly, and resolve issues that may arise as a result of these audits - Solve problems at the store level in order to maintain the standards established in the initial sales agreement - Reporting back to management on each store visits - Ensure all products are available at all times - Ensuring logístical procedures as per SOP completed - General administrative duties and ensure that deadlines are met Skills and Competencies: - Willingness to travel, traveling to customer in the Eastern Cape and Northern Cape from time to time. - Experience with the Shoprite / Pick n Pay / Spar ordering system is preferable. - Work ethic and high integrity - Good communication; written & verbal - Planning & organize minded - Innovation, thinking outside the box - Results orientation - Compliance with the rules and regulations of the company policies and procedures - Adaptability - Pressure resilience **Minimum requirements**: 1. Previous sales & merchandising experience will be advantage 2. Valid driver’s license 3. Able to work irregular hours or/and overtime 4. Has a good eye for detail and accuracy; 5. Possesses excellent literacy and numeracy skills; 6. has drive, enthusiasm and a "can do attitude". **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: R9,000.00 - R10,000.00 per month **Education**: - High School (matric) (preferred) **Experience**: - Merchandising: 2 years (required) License/Certification: - Drivers License (required) Willingness to travel: - 25% (required)
