Purpose of the Role:
The Systems Analyst will fulfil the need in the FinTech space for analysis of requirements and existing financial systems. Aligning product and systems to Business Strategy and FinTech goals. The Systems Analyst will work close with product owners, business and FinTech teams in the ERP and Finance Reporting space. Detailing business requirements and identifying potential improvements by collaborating with business and Tech teams.

Duties include, but not limited to:
Operating Duties
- Gather and document business and functional requirements from business Finance team.
- Knowledge and ability to translate requirements into user stories, process diagrams, and data flow.
- Analyze and document as-is processes.
- Obtain descriptive and exhaustive requirements from stakeholders.
- Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Recommending controls by identifying problems, writing improved procedures.
- Analyze and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes.
- Assist technical designers to understand the business requirements.
- Review and test solutions on larger projects before hand over to users.
- Assist Finance with testing scenarios where required.
- Document business and functional agile user stories for the developers and testers.
- Prepares workflow charts and diagrams to specify in detail operations to be performed by equipment and computer programs and operations to be performed by personnel in system.

Essential Criteria:

- Degree or equivalent diploma in either Information Systems, Business/Finance or Computer Science.
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrable experience with Reporting technologies Power BI or IBM Planning analytics.
- Demonstrable experience interacting with a financial business unit.
- Demonstrable experience with ERP Solutions.
- Understanding of usability and user experience principles in an ERP space.
- Understanding of basic financial principles.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrates consistent behaviour aligned to our Organizational Culture.

Desirable Criteria:

- Business Central and/or Nav 2018.
- Excellent training skills.
